A „régi új” helyen a legfelkapottabb zenei irányzatoké lesz a terep, nemzetközi mércével naprakész zenekarokat és dj-ket felvonultatva, külföldről és hazánkból egyaránt. A műfaji palettán szerepel a modern rock, a rockabilly, az indie, az elektró, illetve a legfrissebb elektronikus tánczenék - a klubba tehát elsősorban a 18-32 éves korosztályt várjuk, illetve minden, trendekre érzékeny, újdonságokra fogékony bulizni szeretőt. A klubestek megrendezésében a város legjobb szervezőcsapataival működünk együtt, emellett saját klubestet is indítunk. A programunkat úgy állítottuk össze, hogy minden napnak megvan a maga műfaja, így mindig lehet tudni, az adott napon éppen mi megy a klubban. A hétköznapok a hazai előadóké, míg a hétvégéken (pénteken és szombaton) külföldi vendégek koptatják a színpadot vagy a dj-pultot. A koncertek és partik mellett ugyanakkor kiemelt szerep jut a látványelemeknek, a speciális fénytechnikától a különleges vizuális megoldásokig, vetítésekig. A célunk egy minden tekintetben modern, 21. századi nagyvárosi klub megteremtése, ahol a budapesti fiatalok állandó otthonra találnak. Szeretettel vár a Mappa Club!

And although the principal priority is always the high level and convivial service, Trafó Bar Tango's many-faceted programs have far outgrown its catering services. #History# The history of the Trafó Bar Tango takes us back to the Tutu Tango on Hajos street. In the course of its full, though short life, the establishment cut out a place for itself in the cultural life of the capital. Its activities were chiefly based on the tradition dating from the late '80's when the Tilos az A flourished, and which traditions the Hajos street staff maintained well. The Tutu undertook many cultural initiatives in the building once home to the Ballet Institute, among others popularization of the Szilvassi Gypsy Band and the Besh O Drom group, as well as a hallmark independent literary coffeehouse discussion series. In the past several years in Trafó numerous outstanding events have crowned the everyday restaurant services. Its own jazz club gives a home to the local young giants, and the city can be proud of the star-studded evenings of jazz and alternative music. We can boast of such names as Palotai, Cadik, Mihály Dresch, Elemér Balázs, Zagar, Androdrom, Emilrulez, and we could go on. The Loves of Tutu Tango discussion series, taking us back several years, have attracted many, including Agnes Heller, Miklós Jancsó, László Mero, Péter Sziámi Muller and András Lovsi. Besides this Trafó Bar Tango provides a locale for numerous exhibitions, and literary, and public events. During the summer the basement club Trafó Bár Tangó went through a complete makeover and renovation. This means that acquiring an entirely new identity for its ninth year boasting a new name, a new image, a refurbished interior and a fresh direction in music policy and programming. From this autumn on this ‘new/old’ club will host the coolest live bands and D.J.´s from Hungary and around the world, carefully selected to fit the agenda: to be the most happening venue in the city as well as a popular contender on the international club circuit. On our music menu we offer modern Rock, Rockabilly, Indie, Electro / Bloghouse and plenty more of latest dance music sounds catering for an 18+ crowd with a sense of style, with open ears and mind. Each musical genre has its dedicated day on the schedule, making it very easy to keep following what’s on. As a general rule, our weekdays are regularly for local Hungarian talent, and the week-ends are for international guest performers. As a truly 21st century urban venue we are putting a great emphasis on the visual side of things, from the glossy interior design to the stunning hi-tech lighting and the multi-wall projections. There are also some tricks on the eye built in just for the fun of it so that we hope you’ll find it entertaining. Welcome to the only permanent home of the hipsters in Budapest.
